Though I agree with your other statement about the Magistrate, I'm not sure how you can say this with any certainty.Quote:
Plus the Magistrate would not have been young and idealistic.

Matt can be Magistrate and a expert pilot, we never see physicaly the Magistrate or what he do, so he can pilot a ship very well, and in SC1 we never see anything about his personality, only he want the revolution and he hate Confederation for the betrayal and after Mengsk too, or he don't help Raynor to escape from Tarsonis in last mission, if we don't count the Magistrate the only 3 persons we know left off the SoK after Kerrigan "death" is: Raynor, Horner and Liberty, Liberty cannot join in Raiders because he was a reporter and he want told to all sector the true ideals of Mengsk, but the Magistrate don't have any reason to left the Raiders, for this I and other people think the 2 are the same guy
I never said it was certain. But reading Queen of Blades, when Raynor talks about how Matt is so idealistic and would eventually "learn better", well, that doesn't sound like the Magistrate at all, who suffered the same exact betrayals as Raynor. One is an experienced battle-hardened Commander, and the other is a young idealistic pilot. Seems like two totally different characters to me.
Frontline is not canonical, only that story written by Metzen (the one of raynor's son) is canonical.
You have sc1-scg infested terran kamikaze http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs71/f/20...ka-d5mj7jz.jpg
Now you have in plan to do infested civilian
https://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/i...QFVXqKEEJ0KNqk
But what about infested marine rifleman ??

http://media.blizzard.com/sc2/media/...x1536-ipad.jpg
I think that infested rifleman should be done, is one of the most advanced forms of infestation
What about infested Stukov and Stukov?
http://home.planet.nl/~aggel005/alph...stedstukov.JPG
What do you think about the big "claws" on the back of all infested??? They are only aestetic or they are blades like the ones of these three big guys?
http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__...r_Variants.jpg
You forgot Raynor soffer more because:
*He already lost his family
*He recently lost his new love for the men he think is a revolutionary who will restore to the Terran the order and justice and a men he trust for some month
So Raynor soffered MORE of Matt/Magistrate, they/he don't soffer for this but only for the betrayal of Confederation and for Mengsk, and the Magistrate look like a idealistic like Horner because he too left the SoK for Raynor, if he doesn't he will stay with Mengsk.
Is for scratch their back XD

Okay— about the Magistrate
VoK, glad you like it. :) There was literally no reason for his nose design, heh.
There is no real need for further conflict over whether or not Horner was that guy— I just labelled him "Colonial Magistrate," so, if you like, Zarxiel, you can just assume it's a picture of what the magistrate before Horner, in Devil's Due looked like, or the magistrate of Chau Sara or something.
About Infested Terrans:
Actually, DefilerRulez, the Starcraft Ghost infested terran could use an "infested gauss rifle" and had the suicide attack. So I consider the one infested marine I have in there as covering the SC1, SCG and SC2 ones.
I will do regular Stukov, not sure if I'll do infested Stukov. Maybe.
As for the giant claws, haha, back scratching's a good joke. :D I guess I would assume that they use them to burrow, since all infested terrans can burrow, but their tentacle-hands wouldn't be very good at digging through solid rock.
Wow that thing of scg about infested terran is new for me, i think that they use the back claws to gran near enemies and kill it with tentacles or other claws (no hentai joke)
Raynor's in. Again, not a 100% perfect drawing, but, fine, imo. Might make his eyes a bit squintier.

I think for the UED captain I'll use the outfit that Stukov wears on the campaign select screen
http://static3.wikia.nocookie.net/__..._SC1_Rend1.gif
...and then I'll use the sweater/high-collared coat/gloves design from his infested concept art and HotS appearance for the actual Stukov.

Edit: Also, should I make the captain be a woman? Just for diversity's sake. We know they have female officers because the Valkyrie pilots are Lt. Commanders, and, like Selendis, I don't think they ever refer to you as a man or anything.
I'd be cool with that.Quote:

Alrighty, UED captain is in!

Man I love those hats. When I have DuGalle and Stukov in too, the contrast between the black-uniformed UED guys with their knee-length coats and the ramshackle Colonial guys with their browns and their pouches and stuff is gonna be great.
Female UED Captain?
Headcanon Accepted.
This is great. I love that all of these characters are making it into the chart.
Shouldn't Mengsk nose be a little larger?
Just a tip, Robear. The most naturally posed of these characters is your magistrate. He has the telltale S-curve going on in the spine. Your other characters, in terms of human proportions and pose, are a little off. Try sketching in that S, like a skeleton, beneath the drawing itself. That will help make them look more natural. And bring the shoulders down and forward a little, too. :)
That magistrate remember me of that fat police officer of zorro, Anyway i love it! And i agree with Khas, your human characters are a bit innatural... Try to look Photos of real humans
this is where I hope you add a infested stukov and raynor in his armor
Thanks for the feedback guys, I'll work on it, and I'll see if I can edit their proportions to look a little more natural. :)
Infested Stukov is still a maybe, but since he won't take much effort, probably.
As for Raynor in his armor, sure, haha, you want Tychus too? Unfortunately, from the side you can't see their faces or any of the cool designs they have painted on, so they're just palate swaps.

That said, you can see that, even though the proportions are right, my marine sketch from 2 years ago just doesn't look as good as these more recent drawings. Which is fine for the overall ground units chart where they're too small to see the details, but I might draw a new marine suit anyway just to match up to the crispness of these new ones.
Here ya go, Robear.
For proper posture, allow for an S-curve of the spine; and the back of the head, shoulders, and buttocks should all line up. The human body is typically 7.5 to 8 heads tall. I'm not trying to nitpicky, just helping out a fellow artist. :)

Hah, yeah, this is stuff I'm like, vaguely aware of, but obviously I pay much more attention to the Starcraft bits than to the people bits while I'm sketching. Here, you can watch Raynor and Mengsk's posture magically improve:
http://i.imgur.com/aLBX8eK.gif
Also Raynor's eyes are a bit smaller and Mengsk's nose is a little bit better. This is also why digital art is the best. :P

All I could think of when I saw it.
^---beat me to it
Oh yeah, I remember that vid. That was that one time Will Ferrell was funny. Legendary.
Jim Carrey awesome as always though.
Oh god this is great!
Heh, saw that coming. Back on topic; DuGalle:
http://i.imgur.com/aK33M62.png
random aside: the tallest guy I know is 2m7cm / 6'8".
Glorious DuGalle
Yeah, damn he's tall.

Yeah, damn he's tall.
By the way, if anyone has any actual information regarding any of their heights, or pictures of two characters standing together (this'll be easier for the SC2 characters), feel free to let me know. I want DuGalle to be taller than Stukov,
http://i.imgur.com/njyxPHq.png
but that's all the thought that went into this. :P

Omg the bad guy on the left!!!! It's more scary of Joker from Batman serie, i want that guy on the campaign!! His evil face inspired me mwahahahahah!
PS: I don't even know who he is...
So was ... half of Blizzard's cast until that certain plot device walked into some character's life.
Stukov's in— I toned down his SC2 outfit a bit to make it match the simplicity of the other UED guys. In SC2 his coat is much more complicated, with these random patches and segments added on, and more rivets and coattails and stuff, and I just feel like the UED are a little more understated than that— though he could have been 'buried' in a fancier dress uniform, I suppose. Saving the decadence for Valerian.

By the way, what ever happened to Hawki? He just disappeared half a year ago. In fact, a bunch of the old posters on this thread disappeared this year, like pr0nogo and phazonjunkie. Ah well, I know it's normal for people to just stop visiting mostly inactive forums, shoutout to everyone who's been here for years.
Edit: Zeratul's in too. I probably still put him in too big for his SC2 appearance, but, even so, he's just a little old man— I would love it if in LotV they actually showed him like this, with Selendis and Artanis towering over him, but it's not going to happen, they'll all just be smaller. Only Raszagal and Artanis left, and the (humanoid) cast of Brood War is complete!
http://i.imgur.com/9BNT4Ww.jpg
Also, just because it's fun to compare, here he is with the DT I drew 2 years ago.
http://i.imgur.com/2aQRBtL.png
Though the drawing is messier, I still like the old one's armor design a lot. :)
If Zeratul is old... Why Duran called it "young warrior" on the BW bonus mission?
IIRC, the point was to demonstrate that Duran was old, not that Zeratul was young. There's several lines in SC that demonstrate Zeratul is old.
Yeah, Economist is right on the money on this— it says right in the original Starcraft manual that Zeratul is 634 years old (and that his occupation is "assassin/adventurer," lol).
Tassadar, who seems pretty well-respected and important, is only 356.
So we're just supposed to conclude from Duran's line that he's really thousands of years old.
Dat old Zeratul kick your ass ! I remember that he was born on 1886 or something like this on some forums... How protoss borns ???? How they eat (using solar light of the Aiur's star ad i learn from the Zealot short story)
I wonder if he knew President Cleveland.
The scale of that Dragoon is bothering me. Unless Fenix was curled up into the fetal position, there's no way he'd fit into that things core if he was the same height as the other Protoss shown.

Sizing things up carefully in The Ambush will reveal the size of the Dragoon pod to around two meters in diameter. :\Quote:
