NASL Grand Finals Starting now

As of the time of this post, they are preparing for the NASL finals, 16 players playing for the big check.

I'm starting this thread for an opportunity to chat with each other as the days go on.

So starting like 1hr 45min late.:p Kinda interesting I guess to see Gretorp massaging Day9.

EDIT: The opening seems...underwhelming.

Garh, I really don't feel like pulling an all-nighter. But, alas. I really want to see MC, Morrow and White-ra play.

Also, what's that about Gretop signing boobs like a boss?

The whole thing feels really disappointing.....from the opener all the way to the interview. And it's just the first match.

I've had a whole 3 months now to regret buying an NASL ticket. Guess I can watch it on my own time from VODs if I can't stay up. Perhaps Artosis, Day9 and Tasteless can pump up the crowd more.

Good news... they were fixing issues as time went on. By match 3 it was looking like it was 100% solid.

They had the camera issues fixed, an actual observer instead of the auto-follow. They had the facial cams integrated, the sound was improved (though left ear is still an issue), They learned from the downtime at MLG and had about 10-15 minute introduction videos about the "path to the finals" for each player. That SIGNIFICANTLY killed the downtime. Also Gretorp was definately out of fuel this morning, you could see it. The atmosphere skyrocketed with Day9s energy later.

While I have to agree, it's production value was rough at the beginning, it's obvious that they have a liason in the chatroom feeding feedback. Many of the complaints are getting nailed down one by one.

i just move to a new house and i dont have internet.
im seeing the matchs in the office were i work, but we close in about a hour so i wouldnt see the Boxer vs MC match, and tomorrow i dont come to work so i will miss quarter and semi finals...
and finally the finals in sunday are at the SAME HOUR that the Mexico vs Uruguay U-17 Futbol/Soccer World Cup Final >.<

I've roughly jumped forward in the VODs. Seems better later on. Having Day9/Tasteless/Artosis really helps. They infuse the event with a lot of energy. Seems like Day9's mic still has issues. He loves to shout.:D LOL. I'll watch the VODs later on. From what people are saying guess I'll watch from Darkforce vs Alive onwards. Kinda sad that it's single elimination. Some of them have been playing for 3 months and they only have one shot to make it.

Day 2 begins.

So.. how about that fantastic Puma -vs- Squirtle Series.
