FXO at this moment really has no chance to make it. They have like 4 losses and their last match is vs IM. Seems really doubtful they can take out IM..... Even if they just happened to face each other it's fine. Just like each FXO team has to prove they're the top.:p
I wonder if anyone took a picture of the fOu guys looking at pictures of the FXO mansion in Malaysia. i try to stay awake last night to see the last day of FXO in korea, because i tought that they would give their best matches, but i couldnt stay awake... damn, i should have sleep early and wake up to see this xD

Final week of the penant race is next week. Things are getting tense for the 3rd place spot.
In Group A (Jupiter Group) if oGs wins vs F.United they go into playoffs, if they lose Prime will go into the playoffs.
In Group B (Venus Group) if fOu (FXO Korea) beats StarTale then they take IM's spot in the playoffs as 3rd place in the group.

No idea why Creator gets called one of the Protoss hopes and people saying Protoss making a comeback with their GSTL results.....So far from these games and the performance of MvPTails it's not that good....
Seems more a case of the Terran and Zerg opponents not playing the best possible. In Creator's case letting him double forge PvT with no punishment and only engaging in big battles. I thought Terrans had Protoss double forge style figured out.....something along the lines of early engineering bay, expanding quicker, multi-prong harass. Or like an early all-in off two base before 1-1 kicks in. But i guess if every Terran lets Protoss get up to 2-2 pretty safely and even in the game while they're at 0-0 or at most 1-1 then Terrans gonna start dropping out of Code S.
The PvZ.....zerg sees the very first void ray and Protoss only manages to pressure the third at 13mins with two void rays and a phoenix whereby zerg only has one queen per base, no spores and lack of creep spread to third (needless to say tons of losses from zerg).....not to mention no upgrades from zerg at all (by the end of the game at around 20ish mins or so he had +1 melee attack and +1 ranged attack) but not doing an all-in.....zerg does a roach drop that kills mostly buildings but doesn't hurt the protoss army at all.....then tries a muta switch to which Protoss just goes "let's just go f***ing kill him".
And the JYP games.....I guess sending out three zergs when JYP's PvZ is looking in top form on that day seems like a great idea.....also some "what are you thinking zerg" moments.
Hopefully when I get around to watching NSHoSeo vs MvP it'll be better. So far nothing new from Protoss in these team league matches just a lot of questionable play from their opponents. But i guess Terrans/Zergs can point to that and say Protoss doesn't have any problems anymore. *sigh*

Slowly making my way through the VODs. Interesting PvP. But i hear tales that the final PvP is awesome. Don't know if it was Keen messing up but Tassadar fared a lot better than I expected.
Now on to what people were saying is another sign of Protoss resurgence....MvPGenius....
Genius' PvZ. Seems pretty standard. Is there some weird metagame ZvP now in Korea?? Are upgrades just not important anymore??? I'm seeing Genius hit +2 attack and only then does Seal start his evo chambers....And Genius wins with 2-1 against Zerg's 1-1 when I would be expecting zerg to be at 2-2. And as Artosis noted a weird final engagement by Zerg basically where Protoss would want it....
Sculp had the right idea with the early Eng Bay for upgrading. If he was more on top of it and realised Genius went double forge he could stay even on upgrades (maybe a bit slower). And despite what Artosis was saying about ridiculously early Eng Bay (too busy talking about Doritos) it was timed so that turrets could be made if Protoss decides to throw in DTs after expand for map control. Same idea as the early evo chambers in ZvP but with the added benefit as anti-air for zergs. And the first engagement....Sculp could have done the quick load unload micro with medivacs at the edge of the cliff to put his army on top of the cliff with the zealots being unable to do anything. A typical thing to see TvZ and good aggressive Terrans TvP like SeleCT. And his 4 medivac drop.....no main army to force units elsewhere and a scan just before drop at a random time so Protoss just knows "oh...he's gonna drop". Genius totally expecting it and no pressure for him to gather units in one area.

Gonna watch the final two games tomorrow but so far.....*sigh* are people retarded now focusing on the results and not the actual matches?? Seems like two days in a row of Terran/Zerg handing Protoss victories. To be fair the Protoss players are playing solid, pretty straight up and pretty standard but the Terrans/Zergs just seem to be messing up a lot. But hey if the metagame shifts backwards like a year and Terran/Zerg skimp on upgrades Protoss will definitely tear things up playing standard.

PvT against jjakji. Again double forge and terran lagging behind. Seriously....two forges and two upgrades for a total of 500 mins 200 gas and it only pays off after 106 game seconds of continuous chronoboost. Also a very defensive Protoss reliant on observers for map awareness. I still remember Tyler saying when Terrans learned he liked to double forge they would just abuse his non-aggression and end up nullifying the later game advantages of rushing upgrades.
