'Bout to go to the store. What brand is best?
No CLUE. You should ask the southern redneck expert. Or call up SAA.Quote:

What would an expert on Southern Rednecks know about air filters?
Dude, I LIVE in QC, and I don't vote anything pro-Quebecker. (I know that was sarcasm) Unless they get their **** straight and stop talking only about Quebec, then it's a no-vote for me. And yeah, they have no sympathy, Gilles Duceppe, the BQ leader, just keeps making accusations and attacking other members of other parties. Some of my friends think that's how you debate. I beg to differ; I've had the highest grades in philosophy and english debates in my classes, and I've been to a UN simulation in NYC (NMUN, google it if you don't get it :P) as a delegate representing the Bahamas on the WIPO committee. Duceppe has an awful and twisted sense diplomacy, I find.
I voted NDP, but I would've as well voted Liberal. A shame that Michael Ignatieff decided to leave his seat as Liberal leader, as he had some really interesting ideals about country unity and the like. I find it odd that he stepped down when on election day he said he would never do that, no matter what happens (and that was after it was clear that Liberals would not be in the lead nor in 2nd place)...Did he give in to some kind of depression or was he threatened or convinced to step down?
Harper is a real professional, though. I'm not sure I like a majority government with conservatives in charge, but I guess we'll have to see how that goes.
Yes I do, what about you?
Conservatives actually do some ok stuff. In fact, there is a lot of stuff that is similar in the NDP and Conservative platforms. For example and contrary to popular belief, both parties want to increase military spending and the NDP are not strictly against the F-35 program. Both parties also want to help small business with tax cuts.
Unfortunately, on other issues I don't agree with the conservative because they don't bring satisfactory solutions to the problems that we have. Examples:
-Conservative give tax credit on textbooks and more scholarships; yeah ok but the tuition fees keep rising and sorry if you're not among the 5% of people who got a scholarship (that actually doesn't help you that much to be honest)... In the end, it didn't help at all. Hell, it's almost worst for most students. This why the NDP wants to simply lower the tuition fees. Seems like a no brainer.
-The conservatives want to get more doctors for rural communities by forgiving a portion of student loan to students who decide to go practice in those places... That's not fixing the problem at all. We don't just need doctors in rural communities, we need doctors everywhere! There is a shortage of medical personnel in cities as well as in rural communities. Just train and hire more doctors? Seems like the obvious solution and this is exactly what the NDP wants to do.
-Plans to help fight pollution and be greener? Nothing for conservatives... NDP on the on the other hand have laid out lots of plans to tackle climate changes.
In the end, the NDP is a much better representation of the way I believe that our country should tackle some of our problems.
I just read a wikipedia article about Canadian politics so I feel completely qualified to argue with you all about your own country, Europe-style.
Those soulless bastard Conservatives are nothing more than the slaves masters which uphold the psychopathic values of capitalism which sucks the cock of Satan. Their empires of blood are built upon rivers of orphan tears and upon the backs of innocent children. Canadian Capitalism is a monstrous blasphemous creature and one day the Canadian infidel bastards will be judged and their fortress of Satan will be burned to the ground, rightfully so. No more will the world be tainted by the inglorious influence of the disgusting Canadian.Quote:

I spit upon the name of Canada!
*hhhhhckkkkkkkpptchewwww*
So you don't like students? And aren't you thinking to provincial government? Plus the government has no right to control prices of educational institutions. Post secondary education is a business and not a mandatory governmental education center.
Again provincial issue not national. Health care is a provincial issue I believe because the provinces all have different polices, plus I have never heard of this do you have a source?Quote:

Why do we need this? Canada is not a country that pollutes, we are a clean country compared to other countries. If you tax corporations for pollution, you scare away business.Quote:

Pollution is one of the downsides of actually having an industry.Quote:

I have no clue why you would end up with the conclusion that I don't like students. My point is that lowering tuition fees is a much smarter solution to the problem than simply giving credits on books. Plus, post secondary education are NOT businesses. I mean, unless you're talking about PhoenixU and other institutions like that, universities and colleges are as much a business as an hospital is a business... In other words, they are highly regulated by the government.
Fact of the matter is, if the federal government doesn't take measures to help the provincial governments, tuition fees will keep rising.
Again, they need federal help if they want to fix the problem. The health care issue is not limited to one or two province, its something that touches the entire country. Yes I have a source, go look in the official Conservative platform: http://www.conservative.ca/media/Con...rm2011_ENs.pdf page 55Quote:

We pollute and we pollute a lot! Tychus sums it up; if you have an industry, you will pollute. It is important that we keep taking measures to protect the environment. I don't see why I would have to explain that to you or anyone...Quote:

Business that pollutes are already running away from our country and not because they have to take green actions but because the work force in developing countries is cheap. Business that are still here and that pollutes will stay because of the natural resources. It doesn't matter if you tax them more so that they take green actions, they will stay either way.
