Recording Blizzcon 2009 Pay-per-View coverage
Hi guys,
As the blizzcon 2009 event comes nearer and nearer and I don't have the opportunity to go there by myself, I have thought about ordering the pay-per-view live stream of the event.
Now since this event will be very awesome and epic I think that it would be a pitty not to record the coverage which you get for the 30 €.
However I'm not sure if this is legal and if blizzard approves that, but if it's ok how are you able to do so? Which tools and programms can you use to save the coverage in for example .avi files? What do you think about this idea?
And actually who is going to order the pay-per-view too?
greetings

Actually, that is awesome!
If you can do that, I'd be really grateful buddy :)

probably that would violate terms of rights, not sure though
however you can try and do that, law will not reach you there (in Austria) heheh

There's a lot of screen-recording programs you could hunt down and use. (They record sound too.)

I approve of your actions, Syrilus.

As long as you don't make people pay to see it, you're in the clear.

I am going to a friend's house for the PPV. Beer, Blizzcon, and Xbox 360 gaming whenever the PPV gets boring. =)

What I don't understand is that I'm pretty sure I got to see Blizzcon live for free last year and I'm not talking about the tournament streams.
But wasn't it PPV last year already too?
