Starcraft 2 TD (Project)

Hi,
i want to present a Starcraft II Tower Defense Game and also the project.It is not a new project but it's "finished" now.
The site is starcraft2.pro
The Game is under development but the Beta is already open and good to go and we would be glad if you test the Beta and give us feedback. The Project has also a Community where you can get many rewards for your effort (Ipod's;SC2 Beta Key's; and others). There will be also a new managing Post System where you can collect awards and "buy Prices". We also have a VIP Section for special members.
So the site will be remade (V2) and we also have some events and offer the users special features :)
We're looking for moderators. If you're interested you can just pn me.

No offence, but there is no such thing as "Tower" defence in Starcraft.
The original of this game type however as far as I know was born in Starcraft and its name was Turret Defence. Not until later it got more widely known as Tower Defence from its clones made in Warcraft 3.

But I for one will go back to use the real name Turret Defence in Starcraft 2. :)

eeh... well i think it's not a big thing for me. I really don't care about the Name :)
The point is the Gameplay

Actually Zalamander, TD has become a terminology instead of a title. For that reason, there are tower defenses out there involving blobs, heros, desktop utensils, etc. Hell, final fantasy has a tower defense based on you filling a dungeon with monsters against heros.

For this reason, as long as the theme is Starcraft2 and the genre is Tower D, then I think it's adequate :)

Well it's a fun little game :)

Just an FYI, I'll be the first person to remake Turret Defense. :P

I knew Tower Defense games before StarCraft.. So I doubt Turret Defense is the first.

All I get is a black screen when I try to play this.

Yes I have expirenced this as well. I'm not quite sure what the issue is, either you have to wait since your browser is loading the flash (if you got any javascript blocker like No-Script you should of course activte script on this site) or just right-klick on the black screen and klick play under the options.


The game is acutally quite nice and makes fun for a while, however still a bit buggy.

who's gunna remake 'Defend the temple'?

well sorry guys but the Opera users have no problems with it
you should have java ... and the whole thing is made with action script 2 ☺

well i beat it, it was a fun little game

one thing i found though was that the laser tower wasnt all it was cracked up to be, i really didnt find it was that strong. I mainly just built the freeze towers and the 2 missle tower things

Yes . The Laser turret is the biggest Problem imho because it's really useless... but this is only Beta.. not "beat the game and get yourself a cookie"
so :) It will be balanced in future ☺
