When my dog heard this he jumped and ran out of the room. True story. She sounds quite creepy and smug here, and seems to have lost her anger as a result of winning BW.

It's that creepy-ass reverb. It's in the campaign too, it's just obscured by the ambiance sounds.
I have to agree. Tricia Helfer got it right with these quotes, and her voice really does match the face.
I'm not really sure what happened with the voice acting in the cinematics, I was borderline cringing in "Prophecy"
Wow, that is creepy as hell.
@Gradius: the reverb did help a lot w/ the creepy factor.
So do we think that's why Blizz went with Helfer? She was creepier? lol.
I liked the reverb, but she didn't have that in SCI. Was it ever mentioned in books? I guess that the echo was intended to give literal meaning to "speaking your mind", because the overmind always had reverb, so maybe it's just a maturity or power level thing or something like that.
Anyway, it's some good material, and you could probably construct a decent speech by resarranging them and filling in some blanks.
Right... waiting for someone to autotune this.
Kerrigan's best lines were in Brood War.
Trica Helfer's best lines were in BSG.
So sexy.
She quoted Arnold Schwarzenegger from my favorite '80s action move Commando...
"I like you, that's why I'm going to kill you last."
I never had a problem with Trica Helfer as Kerrigan though, anyway I think the Old Kerrigan voice is preferred partially for nostalgia, she always sounded like a female body builder on steroids to me.
People don't give Tricia enough credit. She did a good job. But obviously she isn't the original. It's like when I was growing up watching the dubbed DBZ. The new Vegeta voice was horrible...but then you just get used to it -_-;
What can you do, Chris Metzen is a Battlestar Galatica fanboy.
I agree though, the cinematic voice acting was horrible. But mind you - maybe it was just poor direction or possibly...maybe...that is what they "wanted".
