I just needed to share this with you all and see if any of you have similar thoughts.
Please write down SC II units, from what you have seen so far in movies or pictures, that you strongly dislike or even hate and for what reasons.
I understand - it's not right to ask that kind of question in these pre-beta days, but it could be interesting to compare present critics, and critics some of you will share AFTER playing beta.
(also: if this discussion was done in any previus thread (i found none!), send me link then close this one; I apologise in advance)
I personaly can't stand changelings, can't see them as a part of the zerg swarm an any basis: how come a unit can change its own fleshy form (considering substance can't change) into marine metal plate or zealot armor/body? I know they evolve fast, but this is totaly absurd! It's understandable for warcraft universe where magic is "Deus ex machina", but here you need to be some kind of "alpha supreme" or partialy-divine being (like Xel'Naga or high templar mystic) to truly understand metaphysics/deeper reality and after that -manipulate it. There is simply NO WAY any of the zerg unit can do that. This (above all things) breaks my suspension of disbelief and I absolutley hate it.
Why do they need to make spy as C&C: Red Alert have? Beside the fact it's not an original idea, here - in SC universe, changelings are utterly illogical.
(maybe they removed them so far, anybody got info?)
Helion - second one. Strongly dislike everything about them (model, movement, attack animation, portrait, unit as substitute for firebat/vulture).
They just suck IMO. That's it. But not as much as changelings.
Sorry for bad english.
