What I'd really like to see is a Starcraft-style story that doesn't suck. Sadly there isn't anything like that.

Mapster actually has a lot of fan produced content and campaigns that are top notch, check 'em out. I highly recommend Quagmire, Odyssey, and the Antioch Chronicles. Unification of Purifiers is pretty good, too.
