EDMOND — A helmet likely prevented a motorcycle driver from suffering more injuries in a collision with an SUV, police said. Tuesday morning, both northbound and southbound lanes in the 14000 block of North Kelly Avenue were blocked for about 30 minutes while responders worked the scene of the crash, said Jenny Monroe, spokeswoman for the Edmond Police Department.
