☆☆☆ Gundams and Guradiusu ☆☆☆

I was really bored, since there is no new info or anything, and i did some research :D

Gradius (グラディウス, Guradiusu"lol"?) is a horizontally-scrolling shoot 'em up released by Konami in 1985 for video arcades. It was originally released in Europe as Nemesis, and was later rereleased as part of the Gradius Collection and Konami Classics Series: Arcade Hits.

Gradius has the distinction of popularizing a weapon selection bar called "Power meter", based upon collecting capsules to 'purchase' additional weapons. The game was ported to many systems, most notably the Nintendo Entertainment System (with this version also appearing on the Wii's Virtual Console) and the Japanese MSX computer. The game cover is very similar to the cover of the novel, Ender's Game; also released in 1985.



You may ask what has this to do with gundams?:confused:

Absolutely nothing:p, so that's why i'm wondering, why a certain SCL member, lets just call him Guradiusu:), has an gundam avatar and a signature , it doesn't make sense.

Hmm, i thouhgt that the monster in your sig is called a zabimaru :p And the avatars are really not important,but the signatures matter :D i'm only trying to give a gentle hint at Gman :P, that he should consider updating his sigtnature, i know he is capablle of making an awesome one, just look at mine :D

I think this thread is the equivalent of gently poking moderators with a stick to see whether they'll respond... The same way you do that to a small unidentifiable something on the side of the road to see whether it's an animal.

Meh i was just really bored, and wanted to know more about Gradius, and why he has that name and avatars, and if he has any plans to make a new fresh one. I'm actually a huge gundam fan :p

I used to obsess as a kid over the stats and abilities of each of the Gundams from Wing; Wing Zero having the greatest power output, and Sandrock being able to withstand the most punishment; from Death Scythe's maneuverability and stealth to... uh... y'know, I don't know if Wu Fei's Gundam was really particularly good at anything...

Other than that i would have to say my Gundam series are as follows:

Gundam 0079 (1st fav)
Chars Counter Attack
Gundam Zeta
Gundam Wing( 1st fav in AU)
Gundam 00 (2nd fav in AU only because i was disappionted in the ending)

Gundam 80,83,8th MS team were a nice change of pace.
Gundam G did not like at all.

And the rest that i forgot to mention are enjoyable as well.

Oh yeah i picked the WTF are gundams choice for you Gradius hope you enjoy it.

Now that I think back, I remember Zech's Epyon was a pretty sexy beast in its own right. I can't remember, though, whether he piloted that in Endless Waltz or not.

Nope, the Tallgeese III. It had a badass shield with a retractable heat whip that was just like the Epyon's.

That was Tallgeese II. The first was ditched by Zechs for Wing Zero and destroyed. The second was piloted by Treize and killed by Wufei. I'm a nerd.
