I figure sense I'm in the Photoshopping mood I might as well take some requests for signatures... If any of you would like a sig for this forum or some other one let me know. Feel free to browse some of my existing ones (link to my created sigs is in my signature). If you like one of the ones I've already created go ahead and use it, or simply ask me to modify one to fit your needs.

If you want a new sig, please give me the following details...

-A couple links to high quality, decent sized pictures to choose from
-A general color scheme you'd like to see in the final graphic
-The font (do you want a grungy, pixelated, script-like, distorted, etc?)
-Specific text - what do you want it to say?

Basically the more information you give me the easier it will be. Thanks, and don't hesitate to request!

As far as the mothership pic, so you want the top of that pic to be toward the middle vertical line?

Uh... basically, the right half of the form on top of the picture on the right side of the picture. And the main torso of the Queen on the left half.

Alright, so you basically want two? Nothing wrong with that, just making sure I understand :p

As far as placing a graphic as your signature, you have to save the graphic to your computer. Then, upload it to your account on a site such as Photobucket or Imageshack. After that copy and past the IMG code into your signature (in your User Control Panel on these forums). The image code is the same as the normal URL except it include ..... (url would go in between the img tags)...

Let me know if you need any help setting up the signature. And as far as the sig(s), I appreciate any clarification you can give me.

All I acutally would like to have is that the images are smaller sized so that the images fit a signature. A basic rectangle would be great. Problem is that then probably the image would be blurred.

The color scheme should be the same as in the image and I would like a grungy text too on both as I mentioned two posts before.

Since you do more that one signature i'm wondering if you could do me an another one.

I would like an signature with an dragon on one side , and an angel on the other side.I would like if you could add an ice/chrome flame to the dragon, explanation; the dragon would breth out a long white flame, that would include the name " Tears Of The Moon " hidden in the flame, towards the angel in the other side that is raising it's hands to shield itself. I would also prefer it if the sig would be translucent , without an background and saved as an gif.

Hey dynamiK, could you make a sig using the firebat only, minus the marine or just the firebat upper half in the provide links. Including the quote "Nothin' like a good smoke." or Fire Guzzler running below the signature in grungy style and darker/smokey color scheme for the sig.

It has a transparent background, so the only reason it looks black is because of SCLegacy's BG.

I wasn't expecting to much, since 3 people alredy tried this sig for me, and all had problems with the transparenncy, and it didn' look good, so i didn't had high hopes:o.( the reason i wanted it transparent, so i can use it on multipple sites, so it matches the sites)
But this :D, it's even better than i imagined it in my thoughts :p
The details are amazing, love the flame and the text, and exspecially the light.:)

After thinking about the play on the book being a "gift" and my ability to write a ton of words, I thought it was an interesting start. I also enjoy anything that can incorporate a "wall of text".

If it could be darker to fit the feel of this forum that'd be fantastic, but overall, my imagination is just taking hold of this idea and I'd feel that potentially you could pull off a better idea than I. I'm open to suggestions more than just this and open for a new signature along with my avatar. I just want them, if both are made, to kinda show the same "story" or "feel".

Sorry about the lack of information, but the idea for this avatar and new signature is in it's infancy... any ideas/considerations would be fantastic. Obviously if you can simultaneously incorporate a starcraft feel, bonus points :)

I would like the book to be part of the avatar and signature. The issue with the signature is that I can't explain it further than "feelings" and basic ideas.

Feeling: Look at Zabimaru's signature on page 1, you'll see how it gives you a kinda "dark" yes "stonic" feel in a way. I don't mean the ghost but the rest of the image.

What I would like is the book image above featured in the signature and the rest of it have that "dark parchment" or "stone" feel. A good theme to work with is "words" so you can actually place words as a sort of art. I'm trying to think of good words but I can't.

Good themes: Gifting a book, dark/parchment color scheme. Find a way to make my Name fit yet stand out.

I know you're looking for "more" when doing these projects, but I can't verbalize more than a feeling. I hope this example provides ideas to help on it.

Alright... So somewhat of a grungy background (looks like stone or cement), with the text "Gifting a book" showing in a blended, yet still easy to read. Also, you want that book pic (link in your other post) included in the sig? Chances are I'd end up making this black and white, or perhaps have some brown/gold.

The text "gifting a book" is actually not wanted, that was me babbling, I do that often! *smirks*

But the theme is truly "wall of text"... I have the ability to seriously write INSANELY large responses to simple questions, I don't know, it's how I'm wired. Sorry if this is confusing :) Grungy, however, is a good way of saying it. The color scheme I like. As long as it plays into both the avatar and the signature it should be good :)

Just google for fonts, download some, and then export them into your fonts folder.

You'd be amazed at the fonts you can find.

As far as requests go, I'm going to have to put them on hold for a while. I'm back taking classes again and just don't have the time to Photoshop. Plus, I'm a bit burnt out on it, so feel free to still request, but I felt like I should give you all a heads-up that I won't be completing requests anytime soon.

I like it as a start. At this point, I think adding some flow of "words" from it would be fantastic. Imagine a movie, a man is studying for some important exam by reading from a dictionary. He falls asleep with his face in the book, It switches to a scene where you kinda see the person standing in darkness, they see the dictionary (the book persay) in the distance, suddenly they hear words and the words kinda flow in and out of focus throughout the darkness, wavy or whatnot as if they're haunting him.

NOW FORGET ALL THAT I SAID

That haunty word feeling is what I wouldn't mind as a kinda theme. Make it a bit darker if you want (if it doesn't work, trust me keep it as it is) I don't know what the words could be, make them starcrafty or even just "Gifted" a few times... I'll trust your artistic prowess, it's gotten a solid start. (I know it may be too much to ask, but if you could consider a way to turn that into an avatar as well, that'd be extra credit ^_^)

I can add some words appearing to come out of the book and wave away into the distance. However, in order to do that, can you list maybe 10-20 words you wouldn't mine?

Don't worry about your delay.

Before we add the words, try the darker look and add "Gifted" to it in some interesting form. I'll figure out the words in the mean time.. but if you manage to pull off a good enough signature without them, I wouldn't be against that :)

So basically, I want to have the platform battle as the background of the sig, and I wanted to change the moon for the image in planet Char. StarCraft 2 logo would be somewhere, but fainted like a neon sign in the a dark fog, still with the green glow (included into the platform image like a sign rather than a title out of the picture). The baneling would be the protagonist of the picture in the lower right corner (showing the marines and the rest of the picture).

As some other small textes, it would be great to have some of the following:

"We evolved"
"We have stepped into the light"
"Empires will fall"
"We should step over the corpses of our victims"
"We are the Swarm"
"and we should finish the job"
"the nightmare has just begun..."

Background in red, and the rest of the elements with some green touches in them (baneling, logo and text)

BTW, The images are also big enough to have a wallpaper out of it ^^ just for fun.

^ Regarding using that Char image, it is copyrighted, so if you want me to use it I have to ask the owner. I could do it if really want, or just find a different image. If you find a different one, don't worry about the color of the planet, I can change it to red easily.

As far as Jack's Baneling, it's overall look doesn't really compliment the space platform, they just look like two different mediums. I'm not trying to say I don't like your idea for signature, it's just that the pieces provided don't seem like they'd fit together very well due to the different styles.

However, if you still want me to go for it, I'll give it a shot...

Also, keep in mind the canvas size will probably only be 430x170 pixels, so in order to show a lot of the space platform it would have to be sized down quite a bit.

Let me know what you think and I'll see what I can do.

The planet is easy but what about the Baneling? Do you feel that we could get another one to manipulate? Both the Platform and the Banelings are from Jack and I guess style may be fixed regardless of color...

Guss one of this models might do the work with the correct lighting. Jack belongs to the SC-source community, but I do believe he might not bug for a signature made with his art.

Hey, I've been experimenting with this for the past like 45 minutes and to be honest there is just too much for such a small canvas (signature wise). Having multiple focals (the marines, baneling and other zerg in background) make it really tough to have any flow or clear focal to the signature. If you want I can show you how far I got. I made over 20 layers, but nothing was coming together for me.

Overall though, if you just want a signature of a baneling or something with one subject, then I definitely could make that no problem. Just let me know what you'd like.

I wasn't going to leave the text as is, or the SC2 logo, I was just leaving them on so I wouldn't forget. But yeah, that baneling added in made it tough because it looks so out of place no matter how I skewed the shape of it.

I'm new to posting on SCL, though I've been reading for years, and want to get in on this awesome artwork you seem to be doling out all over the place. I don't have anything particular in mind, save the following - a grizzly bear breathing fire OR a giant crow fighting a gorilla. Or all three. Maybe the gorilla is holding a big monkey wrench? I don't know. Can it happen?

When it comes to putting multiple focal points in a signature or graphic, I'm not the best at it. So out of those options, I'd probably be most apt to try the bear breathing fire.

Any chance you could get me a few possible images that I could start with? The better quality the images and more variety, the more apt I'll make the sig. If I have to hunt for a picture then I might not make it just because I want to be sure you like the starting image.

Or, if you found an image with a gorilla holding a monkey wrench, I could work off that. Just something with only one focal point.

Eh, not sure. I could give it a shot, but I've never been that great at creating sigs with multiple focal points. If you post some links to high-quality pictures I'll see what I can do...

Cool. Understanding you are busy, I thought I would ask.. I usually scour the net for png images that I can layer into a background image. Your work by what I have seen looks pretty awesome, so I thought I would ask. I wil look around to see what I can find. I have 3 fansite packages to dig through, but more of those images usually aren't too great..

Wow dude this looks fantastic! Could I possibly bother you with some minor tweaks? Like making the Hammy in the background contrast with the picture a tiny bit more (esp the "mm" in the middle, where the pic is brighter, but the whole thing a bit more I guess), and if you could make the front "Hammy" larger?

^ I can try, but in order to make it larger I'd basically have to restart. I had it at 430x170 but it felt really empty... As far as moving up the text, I could but the thing is I'd have to delete 10+ layers in order to get back to the original font layer. If you really want/need it modified I can try, but it'd be a while cause I'd essentially be remaking the sig. Just let me know.

Yeah, I wasn't sure what size you wanted it since it was more of a banner than signature. I'll try to resize it by sometime tomorrow. PM me or post in here if I haven't gotten anything new to you by Wednesday.
