Starcraft2 or Diablo3

Which game do you think will sell more copies?

-Starcraft2

Diablo2 sold 5million copies , stacraft sold 9million. But if you look at people playing on battlenet, there are more people playing diablo2 than starcraft. The other thing of notice is than the rts market is flooded with rts games and there is a high competition for rts players, where diablo3, an arpg stands nearly unchallenged with no serious competition.

Starcraft with most likely sell more.
More people are familiar with Starcraft than with diablo... Everyone in Korea will have their own copy so lets say... at least 3 per house hold ;)

But the rts market is flooded with competion, and 45% of people playing wow said they might try diablo3 out. So it could be a close race .

Everyone knows starcraft and will know it will be better than all other RTS

and 45% said they MIGHT try D3 . I MIGHT go and have sex with a guy tonight but realistically I wont. but ya know.. haha

I think StarCraft 2 will sell the most, because I think it will be a vastly more competetive game.

Diablo 3 however, is made mainly for single player, but will no doubt have great multi player support.

And we all know that multi player, and specifically mmo is the future of gaming;)

Tough call. Both games are equally impressive, and both have their own loyal fanbase. However, I believe SC2 will be geared towards a more hardcore audience. While everybody will certainly enjoy the game, not everybody would be able to pick it up and succeed.

Diablo3, on the other hand, has the potential for being enjoyable to a wider audience. It's a more casual game and can be picked up and played for as little or as much as you want in one sitting. So I suspect this one will sell more copies in the long run.

Because it has a fan base that is ancient and loyal as well as having the appeal to newer gamers.

Only time will tell, Starcraft II will probably be released before Diablo III comes out. And depending, alot more people have been waiting on Starcraft than Diablo. So my guess is, that Starcraft II will have more sales, but I do not know. it depends.
