I played TF2 hardcore for more than a year. CS:S for more than 4 years and now I alternate between old school Heroes of Might and Magic III and Sins of a Solar Empire.

You're missing out. There's a lot of shit out there, but also some real gems. Although the RTS department has been... lacking in balance.

Final year of High School, so trying to cut down. Haven't touched SC in aaaaaaages, but should get back to it sometime soon.

Yeah I probably am, but then again I don't mind spending most of my "video entertainement" time on Starcraft. Although I still suck, I like the idea of slowly improving at one game rather than playing a bunch mostly for the solo experience.
That being said, it's true that I forgot to count some console stuff that I occasionnaly play at friend's places. Stuff like halo (mostly coop) on X360 and Smash melee/brawl on the Wii. Those games really age well too.
I don't really find stuff like Gears of War entertaining though tbh. It's a bit brainless and the skill cap is too low imo. I might be mistaken though, I haven't had the chance to play that much.

No, youre not mistaken, its a horrible game :)


And Blazur, Its a great game. I just beat normal mode... now workin my way through hard mode. The difficulty really ramps up near the end but a fun game all the way through. PLUS it was made in Vancouver so instant win in my books. Their studio is really nice.
