In my humble opinion, EA is the devil. Though Phenomic isn't half bad. The Spellforce games wasn't the best, but interesting and a tad innovating none the less.
EA Phenomic is the creators of BattleForge (http://www.battleforge.com/portal/site/BattleForge/landingpage), and after watching Tutorials I to VII on Gametrailers.com (http://www.gametrailers.com) I kinda wanted to try it out. Too bad the demo is on 6.8 GB and I can't be arsed to pay €50 on a game that might be totally imbalanced and boring competetively.

So, has anyone here tried the retail version of this yet? I will probably download the demo, just to pass the need for some RTS action until SC2 Beta. But I would like to hear some reviews of people I know have high standars for their games ;)

I've also considered trying it, but I'm too cheap lol. And the reviews haven't been spectacular.

If you want a "decent" RTS, get DoW2. Its balance isn't great and the matchmaking blows, but the new 2v2 mode is acceptable, the campaign is fun, the army painter is nice, and the graphics are sick.

i've heard of battleforge i've seen it in magazines and stuff it got good reviews from what i can remember the thing that sucks is that Booster packs cost real world cash so if you want a good army you're gonna have to spend some money
