hello all
so i bought a new pc and yesterday i got coolermaster hyper 212 plus cpu cooler. now i got a few questions.
first of i oced my Phenom x2 550 BE from 3.1 to 3.82 Mhz. ran prime 95 for 2 hours didnt have enough time and it seemed stable.played wow for like 8h after that everything is fine. now my question is this, do i have to run prime 95 for 12h just ti make sure everything is fine or i can take 2h + 8wow h and call it a sucess?
other question is this how much does your cpu heat ? mine at idle OCED is at 33c and under full load with prime 95 and wow never goes above 46c more like 44c. now i know that a bit hot for aftermarket cooler but 700mhz from both cores generates extra heat (and there is increased voltage from cpu 1.3 to 1.5 and nb from 1.2 to 1.3), plus i think i messed up while applying thermal paste.i used the full thing that comes with cooler 2-3g, and mayonezed it all over it. next time i gotta buy something from arctic cooling and put 3 small dots and press the cooler on it, no more credit card stuff.
