So does anyone likes boxing or doing some martial art as a sport (armed and unarmed)?


I'm in Mixed Martial Arts (Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Vale Tudo). Though i feel some respect for Krav Maga disipules.

I did Judo for three years until I cracked my skull in a match. Then I turned to CG. :D

I've taken various kinds, including capoeira and southern and northern styles of shoulin-do. Some friends have been teaching me to grapple and various disarming techniques, and I just finished a quarter in sabre.

I want to try out judo.

I’ve done Taekwondo, Hapkido, Muay Thai , Jitkundo and fencing for over ten years. Unfortunately I’ve had to stop all of them due to certain circumstance.

I used to be on the rifle team for my Cadet Squadron. I was arguably the best shooter in the squadron - from what I know of, not including other squadrons of course. I'm also very good at archery. But I prefer guns. I like guns. :D

But on topic, while I have never done any form of martial arts, I know my uncle has. He achieved the highest rank possible for Tae Kwon Do. He also scares me. My brother uses various fighting moves from UFC among others. They're both very good fighters. I learned a lot from my brother although my mother still wants him to teach me how to fight.

Wasn't that featured in Ong Bok: Thai Warrior? Devastating art. I love the fight scene between the main character and the Capoeira rasta. Great scene. :)

A friend's invited me to accompany her to some chinese fighting course. It's on the other side of the city though, and gas costs are killing me. =[
