BTW, I do remember that whole, 'The_Earth" debacle....what a 'wrench' that was....like that forum didn't have enough problems....definitely worth the price of admission tho. :) I actually thought the same thing was going to happen here with the revealing of Perfecttear, Sarov and Zabimaru......Proudly, we've remained quite stalwart in our SC causez. :)

....and while we're at it, for quite awhile during the early days, I thought that 'Ghetto' dude and Squid were the same guy....however, my keen eye, and ear for the written word eventually allowed me to detect the subtle differences. :) at least I think....

Oh, and now that I think of it, that 'Prometheus' guy was here (Blizzforums) for a bit too. Mahn! I swear, Squid, Bolas and PW laid into that guy so hard, he couldn't get a post in edge-wise....I think he was here maybe a week.....it was classic.

Been hitting that forum almost daily (when around computers at least) since the very day SC2 was announced. It was exciting at first because we actually had legitimate discussions about the game, and everybody was eagerly sharing thoughts and ideas with each other. When the spam got out of control I tried so hard to keep the discussions relevant and on-topic...but after awhile learned it was futile and simply joined in with the stupidity.

I still visit that forum regularly for entertainment value. But in all honesty, until they revamp the architecture it is seriously fucked. SCL is now where I go for serious discussion about SC2...the game I've waited my whole life for, it seems.

Well, what I said was funny because its clearly a link to a thread, while the blizzard site believes you are trying to post to the deleted thread, rather than just view it.

Nah, they're just schizophrenic. All the fun threads that actually attract attention get deleted, while other more controversial threads (religious, trolling, off-topic, etc) will languish forever. Sometimes it seems they just pop in every other day and clean only the first page.

You would be scared at the amount of trolls that live in SC:L website and a hard one to troll, though. But, they still find Bnet forums as a hobby to hit noobs with top troll daily news (yea they are daily, and they always work for at least 4 pages of noobs posting "o yea!" "really" "hey plz give us more secret info" and then goes the other troll to end their missery by posting reality).
