CD keys

To start, I was not sure where I should put this.

My problem: I have Starcraft, but no CD key. This is not to say i haven't installed it. I did indeed put in on my computer, but I, of course, am not allowed on battle.net. Is there any way to figure out what the CD key is with just the CD? Any input is much appreciated.

Should be on the back of the CD case. Otherwise no, all CDs are identical, and don't have any keys recorded inside.

Actually, if you have installed it on a computer before, there are tools to retrieve your key from a legitly installed game. So if you have an old computer you installed it to, you can use a utility (which you can find on the intrawebs! per Mr. Killakhan *winks*) to grab your key from there. You can also call Blizzard Tech Support if you want to get ahold of a new one. The fee for it is less than the purchase of the game itself. I've not done it personally but have two friends that have over the years.

When you get it, might I advise to create a battle.net account and store it on there? Then you can direct download it from then on.
