Hey guys, so this is an informal thread that probably dosen't need to be a thread but, here it goes:

There's actually a thriving general discussions forum that Blizzard has mantained for StarCraft remastered specifically. (https://us.battle.net/forums/en/starcraft/22814089/) One for general discussion, and one for the campaign as well (https://us.battle.net/forums/en/starcraft/topic/20754469205) (full of lore geeks like us!). Having interacted briefly with the team myself, I honestly think that they are very open to feedback.

Seeing as there are plenty of like minded people on those forums, I would suggest that if you aren't already, that you try to post over there as well. I'm there under the name "Cam" and StatgosTygo is there as well.

I'm caught between two paradigms with Starcraft. One one hand, I feel like I should focus my efforts towards influencing the remastered version because this is the one real shot I'll ever get. On the other hand, I feel like the only way I remotely have a chance of doing that is if I write about SC just because I love it. The effort/payoff ratio is too steep otherwise.

I think i'm shadowbanned? My posts/replies keep getting deleted instantly, while some of the older ones stay up. There's no way for me to detect this so I have no idea what to do.

Should I make a new account? I kept linking to my blog in the beginning, so I think they make have caused it, but I haven't done that in the past few days.

So people are definitely mobilized on the forums, but I feel like we're in danger of repeating ourselves now. I keep using the same phrases "skeletal and insectoid" to describe the Zerg, and "rugged, dented, dull" to describe Terrans, whereas people don't seem to want to talk about Protoss to much except for their faces looking too generic.

Any ideas on some fresh new adjectives? Stratgos has been doing some really good work. I just want the sentiment to remain visible so the Classic Games team knows it's organic and not just a minority position.

Yeah we need to get more perspectives on this and more ways to describe our concerns, some reason though the forums are down at the moment of this post, so..

Yeah I agree, we just need more involvement. There's been a recent spike of upvotes and comments on the forums as of today and yesterday, so maybe that could help.

We got a Blizzard reply! THE PROCESS IS WORKING!

The 3D animation of the high Templar has the shadow much more prominently, but it still dosen't have the red eyes.

I really hope they don't get stubborn with this blue eye nonsense, they are so close to getting this right...

I think they will probably change the eyes. The fact that they nailed the background 100% is proof that they are listening (people posted about the background in the SC1 Zerg for example). The skin even looks better, even if the same skin tone is there.

Bruh they need to change the damn pose back. I know some people never liked it, but I think they really would with the remaster.

I didn't mind the eye-flare in and of itself, just that, in combination with the overall everything-flare, it was a bit obnoxious. Even SC1 had eye flare. Just not on every Zealot.

The flare doesn't bother me nearly as much as the color where its just blue for every khalai
