Just curious, is the lore in StarCraft original and Brood War good enough to maintain while making a campaign and telling a story without it being too awful? BTW, when making a campaign, I am pointing to StarCraft and its expansion, brood war only. Is it okay to reference parts of the original story in SC and BW or is it bad for campaign making?

Why would it be bad? There's dozens of campaigns that do so.

No, the original StarCraft's lore and story isn't bad, I just--
I may have said that the wrong way, sorry. I meant... Uh... Okay, Nevermind.

There wasn't anything wrong in the SC1 and BW story. Sure it had its flaws, but it wasn't like what happened in the SC2 trilogy. At least NCO tried to correct this.

There is nothing wrong with sc2, some element were wasted, yes, but others were well taken, they are only in love with the environment and concepts prior of original, I like, but I do not put it on a pedestal, it is simply the same phenomenon as in starwar, la People did not just accept the prequels because they married the original trilogy, becoming quite picky, until they delved more than the same as in episode viii the same happened on the missions of nova. Following the example of starwar, there are different approaches to horror, realism romanticism, all can tell different facets of the same universe.
Only the story is told from other perspectives less general perspective but personal wings of lberty is the terran world of raynor with its rockola and its ambiguous morality, zerg perspective is counted from a view of blind egoism of kerrigan, and certainly legacy of void achievement Give cohesion to the trilogy.in sc t here is more space in this than for pessimism.

"There is nothing wrong with sc2"
These are not the droids you are looking for.
Anyway, yes there is a FUCKLOAD wrong with SC2, we've had massive wars all over the internet telling why.
Here's some examples:
-Kerrigan mary sue-ism
-Narrow storytelling
-Little factionalization, too many cohesive groups
-No political intrigue until parts of LotV
-HotS is basically a shitty ripoff of Kerrigan's Episode VI campaign which also wasn't very good
-Mengsk becoming a clown
-The Dominion still being in power despite everyone, their grandmother and their dog beating the shit out of them.
-Protoss being shafted in their own campaign
-The Epilogue, just.... all of it.
-Raynor being in love with Kerrigan despite what she did to him and his allies for really shitty reasons
-Prophecy
-Zeratul being a cliche' old wizard
-UED references absent despite conquering the sector for around 6 months
-Kerrigan's idiotic arc in Heart of the Swarm and her being forgiven for mass murder in like a dozen different campaigns
That's just the snowflake on top of the tip of the iceberg.

One of these days you really have to stop beating the horse like that, Stratos. There were just wasted elements they could have explained more on.

The zombie ghost horse will continue to be beaten until it's cast into HELL where it belongs.
