Hey guys. I know it's bad, but is it possible to download both StarCraft: Brood War and the original game, even with the CD Key I guess, without going into Battle.Net for free? I know it sounds like a really reliable way to go, but I don't exactly want to register there. If it's a cracked version of these games, I'm willing to go there, as long as it isn't pirate bay. That would be the end right there.
Can you help a Forummer out please? I can't make any campaigns because the original, genuine copy is already destroyed and I can't work with the ones I already have, as they're also gone.

Wait, so you do or don't have a cd key? Download SC:BW through the Battle.net torrent (I can send it to you if you can't get it), use a key gen and install the game, update to latest patch to not require CD. That's what I used to do it (minus the key gen because I've got cd keys out the ass). Maybe I can find some and give you one.
-- Okay, I've got a spare CD key. Let me know if you need it after you try the above.

I have a CD key for the StarCraft and it's saved on a personal notepad, believe me... I just thought there was another way to download the game instead of trying to go through Battle.net, but if there's no other way then fine I'll use the damn torrent. Just a notice, I already tried and it didn't exactly work for me. Maybe I should try again. :(

I just tried again... It doesn't work for me. I couldn't do it because one, it seemingly required a price, basically money to pay for the download and I don't have any. Two, The only one seemingly available is StarCraft Anthology, as it also requires registration to Battle.Net and the price earlier is still at $14.99 USD by the way. You know, maybe I should wait a few years before I try again at least. :(

Oh, so, really, all you need are the files to install? I can send those to you.

Wow really? Cool, thank you. I know I could try and wait until I start buying it from Battle.Net but I don't exactly have any required cash flow at the moment to do so... But this is good too.
do you have a battle.net account?
if so u can just register the SC1+BW code to it and download it from there
well thats how it worked last time anyhow, if that doesn't work Eco offered to help

Okay, I'm really not understanding the problem.
If you have a cd key, register it with Battle.net, for free.
If for some reason you can't register it, download the torrent files (the legal ones from Blizzard) or I can give them to you.
If you have no cd key, do the above and try a keygen, since you don't care about Battle.net.
If the above fails, I can give you a key and the files, but I need to understand the problem.

So wait, I do need a registration into Battle.Net, meaning I need my own account there? Good god, all these obstacles and regulations, when does it end!?
You know what, Nevermind I'll figure it out for myself eventually. I got a lot to do in December now and one of them involves a campaign for a Star Wars RTS I have in a CD case... I also need to publish a map for some props. I'll get back to the StarCraft thing later.
And by the way, you guys can stop asking, no I don't have a battle.net account in their system. It's one of the few things I don't have in my name on the net at the moment. What am I even able to do on the battle.net anyway? I thought people were only able to log on there because they are playing a game.

Classic Blizzard games do not require a registration. But you should register so that you can register your CD key and obtain a free copy of the game. Otherwise, you need to one of the other options I gave you.
