The more I think about these things, the more they bug me. LoV seems very sloppy in many places. I mean sloppy in ways even Arcade maps would have their makers notice and fix.
- The Co-op missions are all modified campaign maps, to the point important structures on the campaign map, like Mengsk's palace on Korhal and the palace gate, are still there.
- Numerous tooltips for units are unchanged from the previous two games, even if they are no longer accurate.
- I'm sure we all heard of the bug where replaying the campaign would give you the tech tree from a previous playthrough. I also recall some Co-op mechanics, specifically Superior Warp Gates, coming through, too.
- Related to that, did anyone else notice Marauders in the epilogue could use Stimpacks? Because they could in melee, but not in campaign.
- And speaking of the epilogue, your healing units (Medivacs, Science Vessels) don't heal your allied forces automatically, presumably because they aren't actually scripted as allies.
I don't remember HotS being like this, so what the hell happened? Did they skip bug testing and play testing to get it out earlier?
