Lacking both purity of form and essence, how did Kerrigan become a Xel Naga? Or, seeing as Ouros claimed the cycle ended, DID she become Xel Naga? If not then how could she have defeated Amon?

It's like this:
The ORIGINAL Xel'Naga plan was to seed worlds, and have the planet evolve, thus allowing species to be born that way. Thus ALL life, even terrans, were created (albeit indirectly) by the Xel'Naga.
The Protoss had the better purity of form, but then Amon came to Aiur and uplifted them, thus tainted the Protoss and therefore they no longer had the purity of form. The terrans were thus left as the only race that had not been touched by the Xel'Naga DIRECTLY, and thus while the purity of form wasn't ideal, it was there nonetheless. The primal Zerg in her took care of the purity of essence part, and you can go from there.

No longer had purity of form? What are you talking about? The protoss never lost their purity of form. They were deemed a failure due to a lack of essence, not because of their purity of form.

There's no such thing called space magic. It's just tech we can't currently explain with the scientific terms we know today

for me it is obvious it will take the terran psionic potential as a substitute for the Protoss, for the representation of form. xelnaga Union in Terran / Zerg primal. something that I liked is that the prophecies were basically an illusion of Ouros

More like they're too lazy to explain anything, I call that gross negligence

BONUS QUESTION:
Is Narud truly dead? Ouros stated that in the Void a Xel'Naga can only be killed by a fellow Xel'Naga, and Stukov -- an infested Terran, not a Xel'Naga -- finished off Narud. Does this mean Narud can "reconstitute" at some point in the future?

Ungh.....UNGH.....
Both Narud and infested Stukov need to be thrown in a ditch and permanently forgotten.

Oh, sorry, I had a really bad dream the other night. It felt so real that I totally forgot what really happened. Man, that was one crazy dream!

Stukov can stay around. We can finally see his real motives then

Stukov "died" at Duran's hands and came back, so Duran "dying" at infested Stukov's hands should net a comeback too. He already came back after being killed by Kerrigan in HotS, so why not again? We may get a sequel with Duran as the main antagonist, which he arguably should've been in Sc2 (instead of L-Amon) anyways.

Hm, then perhaps there's hope for Duran's poor characterization being redeemed sometime in the future.
I also had a moment of Fridge Logic. Abathur states that Stukov's infestation is highly advanced, almost on par with the Primal Queen of Blades. And yet he looks like a simple wrecked infested terran. Duran, in a fit of malice, programmed Stukov's body so that his killed blow -- the left side of his face being blow away by a Ghost gauss rifle -- will never heal.
That's some messed up shit. Also, kinda cool.

And as a cynical reminder to humiliate Stukov, which is fine. Thus making his revenge in killing Duran all the most satisfying in the epilogue
