This game pits FPS gamers against RTS gamers. FPS players take on the role of elite human soldiers who are fighting to beat back a swarm of alien bugs, controlled by the RTS players and trying to wipe out the human race. FPS players are able to purchase new equipment for their soldiers, and RTS players are able purchase new upgrades and abilities for their swarms.

The game entered open beta as of yesterday, but only a few people are playing it (122 as of this post). From what I've read in the overviews, it seems like a potentially fun game. The only thing that disappoints me is the inability of RTS players to team up with FPS players.

Anyway, what are your thoughts on this game?

This could be potentially awesome, I'm gunna check it out.

also if the fps and the rts dude could team up it would throw the balance off.

Edit: wont get to try this till tummorow or the day after since i am nuking my HDD tonight.

Animations could be better but the game looks cool. Are there more tileset than the jungle one though?

Saw a couple of youtube vids, I agree with Sandwhich, animations could be better.

Also, it looks like it has potential but right now it looks pretty meh to me. I think it'd be better if it was actually an FPS and not a third person shooter.

I hope someone makes something like this for SC2 though. One side is running around trying to survive while the other side hunts the players down RTS style.

Was just about to say that this is most likely possible in the SCII editor. And yes, I hope someone does this, cause the concept is actually pretty cool.

Thou I also hope someone makes a sort of similar game, where as an RTS commander you can "control" or give orders to one or many 3rd person people. Like in the HL mod I forgot the name on...
