In light of my birthday today, I thought I'd start a topic about them in general.
How do you feel about birthdays? Are they treasured times, or just another notch on the bedpost of death?
How do you celebrate your birthday? With party hats, or passed out in cabs?

Happy birthday, DemolitionSquid!
To me, birthdays are just another boring day in the year. The reason I feel this way is because I never get to have a party, no one says "Happy Birthday!" to me, and I never get presents. And it's not even like they can say "I didn't know it was your birthday" because I've known them for years and I usually put "x days till I turn x!" in my presonal message on MSN. There were these odd times that I might get ten dollars but I usually don't get anything for my birthday. Although it would certainly make my day if I could have a party and get presents for once.
If I were to have a party it would involve video games and good food.

Happy Birthday DS.
For me, my birthday's always about seeing a movie with friends, oftentimes ones that I don't see otherwise. It's mostly that having my birthday at the end of May usually means that there's something good coming out.

Happy birthday, demo!! How many years?
I don't give birthdays a lot of importance. Just an excuse to celebrate something :).
Usually, a small family celebration, then meet with friends next weekend. We have the habit of buying one gift and making one card with crazy stuff that usually makes no sense at all :D. Coordinating all by e-mail is kind of a challenge :). It's harder to choose a gift every year, but at least there is 5/6 people to think.

Nothing really... Everybody forgets mine. :/
It’s also on a holiday so everybody’s elsewhere.
High spirits on your birthday. I hate clichés. ;)

Happ[y birthday, Squiddy.
I'm not terribly fond of birthdays, in general. Especially mine. I always fill awkward when receiving presents. I'd rather it be just another day. I try not to tell people when it is.

Well pretty much useless, but then again there's important birthdays like 18 and 21 legally.
Then there's a funny comic I'm too lazy to get I found off of Blizzforums a year ago
Ok fine,

Happy birthday squid! :)
I will have my birthday on 19. September, it's gonna be some great time.
I personally think that birthdays should be a very pleasent date and it's good that you can celebrate it with friends and family! I like them very much if you ask me ;)
i believe it depends also on how old you are if you are looking to your birthday or not ....
