recovering a Diablo II CD key?

When I bought D2 I'm pretty sure the CD key sticker was on one of the paper disc sleeves, and when I moved 6 months ago I must've thrown out the paper sleeves for more protective jewel cases :/

So now I've got the CD's but no key to install. Is there anything I can do about it? It's still installed on my parent's computer, will I be able to get the key from there?

Diablo's CD-keys for both LOD and Diablo 2 are embedded into the Patch_D2.mpq and d2data.mpq files you can find in the directory you installed your game to.

Anything beyond that would be essentially teaching you how to steal a cd-key, and we can't allow that here.
