The online game guide for StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty is now operational. Think of this as the online version of the manual, complete with lore for units, heroes and planets, as well as explanations for basic features such as gameplay and battle.net. It is important to note that the new site is basically replacing StarCraft2.com, as the site's index points there instead. Here is a run-down of the features:

Beginner's Guide:

• Gameplay Features
• Campaign Overview
• Battle.net Overview
• Installation Guide

• Complete Statistics for each unit
Several Strategy suggestions for countering each unit
• Brief history or overview of each unit's lore

• Planetary history
• Planet Data, including populations, geography features, allegiance, and more.

• Basic racial history
• Unique Racial Characteristics
• Complete Tech Tree
• Portal for characters and planets associated with each race

• Basic history of major characters. Currently contains mainly terran history/units.

• The Story So Far: a retelling of the lore in StarCraft and Brood War preceding StarCraft II
• Various short stories set in the StarCraft universe.
