TeamLiquid has published an article containing some preliminary statistical analyses for the win rates of each race on each server for the top players in each platinum division. What is interesting is that the win percentage for all of the races, even for those who play random, is hovering at around 63%, meaning that the races are actually quite balanced at this stage:
This isn't to say that the game and all the units themselves are close to being balanced right now, but the numbers are still very impressive. The community was expecting a 4-6 month beta, but looking at these statistics, it seems that Blizzard is right on track for their shorter beta timeline, and the game's second quarter 2010 release.
