StarCraft II
With StarCraft II Beta confirmed within days, any information regarding it's release or progress is clearly first in mind of the community. A few days ago it was found that the Beta Forums were found and seen in a production state. Shortly after they were discovered, Blizzard flagged them for forum maintainance. It was also found that there were matching forums for each language, each of which also in maintenance mode.
While this seemed like a simple preparation at the time, some speculating that it was merely for efficiency, it turned out to be foreshadowing to an announcement that Beta would not come out phased as originally stated in their FAQ but instead be preparations for a global release. This shows that their progress right now is farther than they originally anticipated in the original scope of beta testing.
Within the last 12 hours, the Polish StarCraft II beta site was unflagged for maintainance mode and at this time one can see it's contents: A single placeholder post the community manager Avarius has placed for a future beta FAQ as presented in the image below. Some might speculate how odd it is that the English language is being used within the Polish forums but there is something more important to recognize here. This means that the website has enough functionality to allow someone with sufficient access to log in and post. While it's not a sign of Beta's impending release, it is nice to see progress made since the last time we were given a glimpse inside their forums earlier this week.
The other beta forums are currently under maintainance, such as the future English Forums for beta, which is what further sets the Polish forum apart for speculation and scrutiny. That's beside the point that this post shows a date of 12/02/2010...
