StarCraft II Beta Support Update - Client Download

Written by Gifted  | Friday, 29 January 2010 12:53

News - StarCraft II

The official Blizzard Support Page has been updated now with the process of downloading the beta client. This is part of further steps required to ensure that the impending StarCraft II Beta release is adequately prepared for. At the time of this posting, the beta client is not available for download.

To download the game software, please log into your World of Warcraft account page at https://us.battle.net. Select manage game for StarCraft II. Select the appropriate PC or Mac download link and save this file to your system. Once the file has been downloaded, double click on the file to begin the download and installation.

Note for Vista and 7 users: Right clicking the downloader file and selecting "Run as administrator" is recommended instead of double clicking to prevent copying, saving or other permission issues with the downloader.

Please make sure that the Installer.exe for Starcraft II is allowed to access the internet if prompted by your security software, as it will need to download files from the internet for the installation. For common issues and troubleshooting steps associated with the Blizzard Downloader, please go to our Blizzard Downloader Troubleshooting page.
