GSL Finals to be Held in Anaheim

GOM has just announced on its website, GOMtv.net, that the GSL October finals will be held in Anaheim, California.

Currently, Korean gamers are competing with Korean gamers inside of Korea. However, thanks to the emergence of frequent foreign tournaments, they are willing to fly over to compete. They are also very impressed and are enjoying the support from foreign fans.

 

For these reasons I have decided to hold a GSL final outside of Korea and have been making preparations for it. The decision was not easy to make. This will be our first time and therefore a great challenge for us to send our staff to produce and transmit from overseas. But it is worthy of a challenge for GSL and something that must be done at some point.

 

As many of you already know, Blizzcon is held every year at Ahaheim and it is the biggest event for all those who love Blizzard’s games.

 

Yes, the final for GSL Oct. will be held in Anaheim. You will be able to enjoy both Blizzcon events and GSL final.

Just one more reason to look forward to October, with BlizzCon, the Battle.net Invitational, and the GSL Finals all taking place down in California.
