Default Mech builds becoming more popular?

Is it just me, or are people finnaly starting to use mech builds as terren? It seems like in the newer replays on HD's and Husky's youtube channel that they are, esspecially thor+hellion combos. I dont have beta though so i dont know if this is just koreans.....

The very day that the last patch came out I'd say half the Terran builds I saw were mass thors. When people see a buff or nerf the first thing they do is try to exploit it. It's definitely more popular, but mostly because there's still a lot of rough edges that you can take advantage of. I don't think it's polished to the point where it's one of the staples of the Terran strategy like it was in the original StarCraft.

Mech has become more popular since the last patch, yes. People are trying to round it out a bunch now too. Like TWD said, mass thors were pretty popular right after the patch, but now it's mellowed out because people have found counters to it. One downfall to mech is it's pretty slow. Gotta be on the lookout and know where to have your army more-so than with other builds.

Thors are a good unit. Tanks and Hellions have their niche as well. You do need to supplement a mech army with other units like ghosts to make mech more effective though.

You guys think terran mech + raven can be good?

3-4 raven can easily drop down a s***load of autoturret to boost the hp pool of your army of HSM everything.

Yeah, seems like it, though the mech builds are really good, very hard to counter if you are playing zerg.

Or maybe its just that Blizzard nerfed the hell out of zerg and now they actually suck.
