    Really? I heard of a famous Filipino singer named Ndoci. How do you pronounce it anyway?

    Only thing that's certain is that the UED is portrayed as having a distinct European flavour to it, as opposed to the decidedly American Korpulu Sector. But that has a lot more to do with the story echoing American history than ethnicities per se.

    Could be, but then, many languages have similar or identically pronounced words/or names; i.e. Lee (english/german, chinese surname) Or Obama (Kenyan surname and Japanese place name)

    The only filipino singers I know that are internationally recognized is Lea Salonga and Charice Pempengco. Lea Salonga starred in Miss Saigon in the 80's.

    who cares....no filipino will ever come close to level of importance as manny pacquiao. Filipinos literally die of excitement when they watch him.

    yeah I forgot Manny the Pacman. He could be a marine in starcraft 2. or an SCV operator or something.

    Well, there was a pic of some factory place with Chinese on the wall so I would assume some people still speak chinese.
