    Question StarCraft RPG Game?

I am making a nice RPG website to play on, but the problem is I don't know what kind of rule system would be good for StarCraft. Does anybody have a good idea as to what it would be? I've been juggling through several and I was wondering which ones do you guys think works best?

    I've got:

    • D20
    • D6
    • GURPS
    • Fuzion
    • Interlock

There's literally more than I can count at the moment, but I wonder what you guys think would be best in this case? I am asking any Role-playing aficionados if you know what is a good RPG system for StarCraft's universe? What's on the list doesn't really matter that much, but it's just one of the choices off the top of my head I can think of.

I remember some dude I knew waaay back in the day on Battle.net who used to play the StarCraft GURPS game. He said it was pretty good. I see it's still on Amazon. Since it's already been done on that and someone thought it would the best system, I'm going to vote GURPS even though I know literally nothing about any of this nerdtry.

I personally favor D20, but I don't know enough about GURPs to state if it's better or not.

The Generic Universal RolePlaying System, or GURPS, is a tabletop role-playing game system designed to allow for play in any game setting. It was created by Steve Jackson Games and first published in 1986 at a time when most such systems were story- or genre-specific.

Players control their in-game characters verbally and the success of their actions are determined by the skill of their character, the difficulty of the action, and the rolling of dice. Characters earn points during play which are used to gain greater abilities. Gaming sessions are story-told and run by "Game Masters" (often referred to as simply "GMs").

While Fuzion, on the other hand, is a generic role-playing game system created by the collaboration of R. Talsorian Games and Hero Games. The rights to Fuzion are jointly held by Mike Pondsmith of R. Talsorian Games, along with Steve Peterson and Ray Greer of Hero Games. Fuzion is a combination of the Interlock System, (used in games like Mekton and Cyberpunk 2020), and the HERO system (used in Champions, Justice, Inc., Star Hero, etc.). Fuzion is an adaptable system which can be played in any genre and setting imaginable.

Fuzion is noted for its anime-genre support, customizable rules flexibility, and being one of the first generic game systems to be released for free over the internet. It is one of the first games to readily allow licensing, albeit not the "hands-off" licensing offered by the Open Gaming License (OGL) that came about some years later. A modified OGL set of rules based on Fuzion is published by Gold Rush Games as the Action! System.

There are two versions of Fuzion that have been published: the simplified Instant Fuzion, and more detailed Total Fuzion (also known as Primary Fuzion). A third, Maximum Fuzion, was hinted at in Fuzion-based Bubblegum Crisis RPG, but has never been published.

How about this, if you really want to know more about them, read both of these articles here and here.

...Call me a dunce, but I don't really get how that's different from D20. Besides possibly less complicated.

I need to play this stuff more, but there's nobody local to play with.

That's okay, I probably didn't explain too well.

Anyway, it's a popular generic RPG system like FUZION and it's supposed to be very good. I heard video games with Role-playing elements use systems similar to them I think.
