Question about bnet 1 and 2

I think I read/heard that SC1 BW is on the new bnet. Or perhaps I misinterpret..

Last few times I fired up SC, it looks hardly active. Do I need the new bnet or ?

I've had SC1 since the beginning of its time.. launch.. I hope this game never ends.. cheers

Correction: SC1 BW does not exist on b.net 2.0.
What is there is a mod called SC2 BW put together by Maverick.
Sorry to disappoint, and SC1 is definitely becoming incredibly inactive.

In my most humble opinion, BW should be integrated in BNet 2.

There are more Koreans playing BW than SC2. The integration would help people to migrated freely between the two games, what would only benefit SC2.

Also integration with a vintage game sounds funny.

SC:BW was not the great game we see today 13 years ago. I believe time will tell if SC2 and Battle.net will match that accomplishment.

If Brood War got moved to Battle.net , the old fans would hate it, if the flame wars over every change between SC I and SC II are any indication?

Well that sucks.. SC2 dosen't even appeal very much. Just one campaign

Music.. sounds.. voices.. most seem a tad generic.. SC1 is masterpiece.. it should never retire

EDIT: But if SC1 BW could be merged into bnet2 and be cross compatible.. it should help gather lotsa gents again
