A somewhat busy couple of weeks as far as sad little bits of information go! It's our community that keeps us strong though, and our community is still thriving and finding ways to divert themselves. So, without further ado, I bring you...

Staff member Crota has written a lengthy and informative article entitled "StarCraft II: The Big Picture". If you haven't been scrutinizing every minute detail of every unit in the game and analyzed every role and situation possible during the alpha because you're not mentally damaged, we here at SC:L have got you covered and did the work for you. So now's a great time to read this piece and catch up. It could even give you some ideas. What, like you've got something better to do?
The Korean Battle.net forums have been pretty active recently, and we have the translations of these posts up for your viewing pleasure. Subjects include the details of how the Changeling works, thoughts of it's usefulness in 1v1 play, reminding us that the beta isn't out yet, the semantics of build queueing, and Yamato Cannon details.
The StarCraft Twitter page has had some updates mentioning the tutorial missions and some work being done with Zerg casters.
The StarCraft Twitter page also has a link to a great Terran Marine 3D rendering. I'd have no problem accepting that model as the in-game marine model, or accepting that model as who I'm currently dating. Great job, ~sgtHK!

This week's fanart is a Protoss High Templar by
JuyiDeviant.
Over in this forum thread you can see a somewhat cruel prank perpetrated on a man who received a fake copy of StarCraft II for Christmas. I mean...it would be pretty tough to fall for if you follow the game at all, but the box was done pretty well, and it's kinda funny.. so yeah there ya go!
Hot from the ever-churning Blizzard Rumor mill, this thread discusses the possibility from an "inside source" that the MMO Blizzard is working on is actually an MMOFPS set in some futuristic universe with a "dual life" gameplay mechanic. I wouldn't read into it too deeply, however, as I remember when Diablo III was confirmed by an "reliable source" to be an MMO with Heaven and Hell factions. Take it with a grain of salt is my best advice!
The StarCraft: Legacy forums have announced their forum awards for 2009! Winners include our own resident genius, Gifted, and guy who says lots of words, Nicol Bolas. No, no, I kid, they're both smart guys. I happened to win myself an award for most improved poster! I evolved from constantly calling DemoSquid a turdburglar to FORGETTING to call him a turdburglar, and voila! Congrats to all the winners.
Well that does it for this week, folks. We appreciate your support and dedication. The news and activity IS undeniably starting to stir a bit more and soon you will be able to sign onto Bnet 2.0 and laugh at me for using the term "turdburglar" any time you want... I promise.
The Legacy Weekly approves: Joining the fight January 26th. I can't WAIT to kick a Salarian through a window.
