A group of researchers from the Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada have started a large-scale study involving cognition and StarCraft II. They've set up a website called SkillCraft.ca, where StarCraft II players from all levels of play are asked to contribute replay files for the study.

We believe that the analysis of StarCraft 2 performance has the potential to be very valuable to the study of attention, learning, and cognition. Our initial project involves using replay files and survey questions to characterize differences across all skill levels, from bronze to professional.

If you have some free time, head over to their website and submit some replays. Science may thank you for it.
